Ed Bauer began his journey into fitness in 1995, with encouragement from his father, a competitive powerlifter. He became vegan one year later after learning about the inhumane practices that are involved in raising animals for food, as well as the health benefits of a plant-based diet. In 2005, he began working at a small local gym. He always felt that he wanted to be a more effective advocate for animals, but didn’t know how. It became clear that the impact he could have on others through health and fitness was his way. He hasn’t looked back since. Ed is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise, and the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. He is also a Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach and holds a CrossFit Level 2 Certificate. He has over 4000 sessions of training experience working with everyone from teenagers to seniors. Ed is also an all natural vegan NPC Champion Bodybuilder and owner of NewEthic Strength and Conditioning, www.newethic.net in Norfolk, Virginia. He is available for online training and nutritional counseling across the world. Contact Ed Bauer at edbauerfit@gmail.com to get started.
